DjangoCon EU 2011 Sprint, Jun 9-10 2011
We'll be holding a Django development sprint to coincide with DjangoCon EU.
What's a sprint? How do I participate?
See Sprints for information about how sprints work, how you can participate, etc.
Anybody, anywhere around the world, can participate and contribute. We'll be gathering in person in two locations:
- De Waag, Amsterdam
- Google Offices, São Paulo, Brazil.
What should I work on?
Whatever excites you!
- Triage bugs
- Verify that patches that have been provided work as expected
- Complete patches that have been provided by adding tests and/or documentation
- Write code for a new feature
- Kick around design ideas with other people to make a proposal for a bigger feature
- Review patches that other sprinters have just written and mark RFC
What is everyone else working on?
If you've got a particular area of interest, put your name, IRC handle and project idea below so that you can coordinate with others.
- Form-calculus:
Form.__add__(self, other: Form) -> Form
- Allow double-underscore notation in Meta.fields/exclude of modelforms
- Trying to understand all issues with settings.py http://piratenpad.de/smtjxarLZR
