Distorted table view in django-updates email

Description
An email related to a issue ticket, sent by the system, has a table mentioning details about the ticket for reference.
Email clients on mobile cannot render the table properly, thus making it unreadable.
My suggestion would be to use an HTML template for ticket update emails.
