#9291 closed (fixed)

SyndicationFeed.writeString(encoding) documentation uses broken encoding example

Description

The example for the SyndicationFeed.writeString() method on http://docs.djangoproject.com/en/dev/ref/contrib/syndication/ suggest an encoding 'utf8'

However, Internet Explorer doesn't like utf8, and throws an error. It does, however, use utf-8 (with the dash) without problems.

(In [9133]) Fixed #9291 -- Tweaked a piece of example code slightly to set a good example
for others (now uses an encoding that is guaranteed to work for XML consumers).
