Add "django.contrib.admin" to your INSTALLED_APPS setting.

Run python manage.py syncdb. Since you have added a new application to INSTALLED_APPS, the database tables need to be updated.

here is what i did...

INSTALLED_APPS = (

'django.contrib.auth',
'django.contrib.contenttypes',
'django.contrib.sessions',
'django.contrib.sites',
'django.contrib.admin'
'mysite.polls'

)

You forgot to add a comma after 'django.contrib.admin'.
