This page: http://www.djangoproject.com/documentation/release_notes_1.0_beta_1/ has links to the same page in earlier releases. The earlier releases naturally do not have the 1.0 beta release notes, and you get an error 404.

Those links to older versions are auto-generated on every page. Sometimes the earlier page doesn't exist in the earlier version. Life's like that. Just don't follow the link. It should be clear to everybody that the link doesn't make sense for a pre-beta version.
