Description

Running a "development" server for django under Apache mod_python, creating symlinks for the admin/media files from django-trunk files does not work. Using the virtual host configuration and <Location> (as suggested in the documentation) precludes using the "Option FollowSymLinks" directive (ignored in <Location>). These files have to be hard copied into the appropriate media subdirectory in the project in order to render the CSS properly for the admin pages. The suggestion of "symlinking' to those directories is "misleading". (A few hours of figuring this out.)

If symlinks don't work for you, it merely means your apache is not configured to allow it - it's certainly possible, so there's no problem with the documentation showing that method.

Closing invalid since, AFAIK, Collin is correct.
