Cannot access admin page by following tutorial

Description
If you follow the tutorial up to the second part and try to access the admin panel, then django raises an AttributeError because 'WSGIRequest' object has no attribute 'user'.
I have not made any changes to the order of MIDDLEWARE or anything else that wasn't mentioned in the tutorial in the settings.py and changing the name from MIDDLEWARE to MIDDLEWARE_CLASSES solves the problem.
It seems like the default installation is somehow broken.

I guess you might have created your project with Django 1.10 but are using Django 1.9 or earlier. Please see TicketClosingReasons/UseSupportChannels for ways to get help.
