Description

Django projects usually get deployed somewhere where requirements.txt file is needed. It would be nice to create it with default django-admin.py startproject command and propagate it with current Django version.

Thanks for the suggestion, but I think it's better to let users create their own files. There are many different schemes local-requirements.txt, deploy-requirements.txt, etc. In the case of using pip freeze > requirements.txt there is no benefit to adding a file.
