- is already possible for admins : https://www.djangoproject.com/admin/docs/documentrelease/
- is useful for people who aren't admins (so can't check the contents of the production database) but would like to work on the docs website (which is open source).

I can't solve 1, I think it's not necessary to do 2 yet, I'll do 3 and 4 and I have no idea about 5.
