Description
Jeff Croft's django-powered blog has attracted much attention recently. djangoproject.com would benefit from a 'contributed projects' area to incubate promising work such as this, allowing the community to collaborate on developing a range of killer apps for Django.

If something like this happens, it won't be part of the official djangoproject site.
However, see http://groups.google.com/group/django-hotclub.
