Syndication's Feed doesn't support providing several authors for a feed item.
ATOM supports several authors for an item.
RSS 2.0 doesn't seem to care.
I could provide a patch for this feature while keeping backward compatibility.

10 years later, I think we can safely close this. I couldn't find anything about multiple authors in the Atom or RSS specs. We can reconsider this decision only if someone provides PoC and references to the specs.
