    1313I have a test for the regression and explicit tests for the behavior I'm trying to fix. It's VERY limited in scope because I don't want to break backwards compat.

     15DOUBLE EDIT I think the behavior that you're describing has been fixed elsewhere in the descriptor logic some time between twelve years ago and today.
