Description
Django 1.7.X supports using a list of url()
instances for urlpatterns
.
In ticket #23277, it was decided to show the old patterns
approach in the docs, and switch to the new style in the 1.8 docs.
However, the URL Namespaces section of the URL Dispatcher docs uses the new style syntax. This could be a bit surprising for users unfamiliarwith the new syntax in 1.8.
I'm going to open a small pull request which uses the old patterns syntax everywhere on the URL Dispatcher docs page in 1.7.X.
